    enjoyable story! for me, I really enjoy this writers style and that she writes well developed stories. this one is a very good addition to the series. I thought the writer did a good job with the characters and the relationship they formed. I also really liked the way the 'kink' aspect was brought in to this. it wasn't an overdone feature as can be in erotica books, which to me fit nicely with the writers style. Kept this more of a romance book that way. I think this pushed the boundaries of her stories while still staying true to the way she writes. This is one of the things I have come to expect in an AJ Downey book. To me, she isnt too intense and yet she still brings in strong topics and handles them quite well. Yale found a fitting partner in his lady. A girl who was strong, yet needed just enough rescueing. As well as she was willing to admit what she liked without having to fit any kind of standard mold.

    I actually liked this book more than the first in the series. Am very much looking forward to the next book.

    I was caught from the beginning putting off doing other things that really needed to be done just to see what would become of Ally & Damien. I was not disappointed. There is no cliffhanger and there is a HEA. What I love about A.J.'s books is that there is a plot, suspense and love. A perfect combination to keep you interested as the story unfolds.

    I was anticipating Yale's book before I even finished Her Thin Blue Lifeline. AJ Downey did not disappoint!!!

    Yale is an alpha male and knows what he wants even when he feels he shouldn't want it. Ally is a wonderfully vulnerable woman who is just what Yale needs. The character interactions were spectacular, the storyline was well paced, and the steaminess level is hot hot HOT!

    Seeing the expanding cast of characters makes me look forward to the rest of the series!

    This was somewhat reminiscent of 50 Shades of Grey, but to me it was even more contrived. I found it cringe-worthy, & rather predictable. I liked Yale in the first book of the series, but Mr.Parnell/Yale had a “little man/NapoleonComplex” that explained his need for control and dominance, but was clearly an overcompensation, which made him smarmy & unattractive. Ally was gullible, immature, and an easy mark for a wanna-be dominant interested in “playing” head games, & sexual games. I was really disappointed in this book, and wish I hadn’t even read the 35% that I did~Yuck!

    Who knew Yale had a caring heart??? I didn't think it possible. In book one he came off as a tough DA with unclimbable walls and a cold cold heart. He has issues that have him thinking less of himself. But his biker brothers know better and so does someone else.

    Yale likes coffee. He runs to the cafe across the street enough to prove it. Of course there is an anterior motive and her name is Ally. He is drawn to her like a moth to a flame.

    If you are expecting some kind of evil out to destroy someone this book is not for you, unless you consider Yale's self destruction. This was a romance, going through all the steps to love, belonging, excepting.

    I love AJ Downeys style of writing.

    She has you on the edge of your seat with every book she has written and this one is no different.

    I believe His Cold Blue Command is different from previous books because there wasnt murder and mayhem, with saying that I still was not disappointed in this installment.

    This book focused more on the relationship side but still was not able to put it down, and has left me with alot more questions that im sure will be answered as the series continues.

    I feel in love with both main Characters Yale and Ally, even the secondary characters made a strong impression
