One Night with the Heir: A Small Town Billionaire Romance (The Langston Billionaires) Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars (761)

Paris was supposed to stay a one-time sin I left in the sheets.
Turns out she’s my best friend’s sister… and now her kid has my eyes.

She was supposed to be just one reckless night.
Red lips. Wild laugh. Nails raking down my back.
A night that should’ve ended at sunrise.

Instead, I find her six years later in Copper Creek.
My best friend’s little sister. Messy bun, sharp tongue, curves that make my zipper ache.
The woman who still steals my breath.

I came to close a deal.
Now I’m tangled in her fire and her bed.
She glares, I smirk. She pushes, I pull harder.
And somewhere between fights and firelight, I fall.
For her laugh. For her strength. For the way she makes me want more than control.

But the truth detonates.
Beside her is a boy with my grin and my attitude.
She didn’t just keep her distance. She kept my son.

Now I’m fighting for her trust.
Because losing them isn’t an option I’ll survive.

I blame the broody billionaires.

One minute I was minding my own business, and the next I was writing steamy love stories full of fake relationships, forbidden tension, and the kind of emotional damage that hurts so good.

Hi, I’m Sasha, and I write romance that makes your heart race, your Kindle overheat, and your sleep schedule weep.

My heroines are smart, messy, and a little too bold for their own good.

My heroes are grumpy, emotionally unavailable, and completely wrecked the moment she walks in.

My stories are packed with heat, banter, angst, and those can’t-breathe, can’t-sleep kind of love scenes.

When I’m not writing, I’m probably drinking cold coffee, crying over my own plot twists, or whispering “he’s just fictional” like it’s going to help.

If you’re into high heat, big feels, and a little bit of chaos, we’re about to be besties. 💋

One Night With the Heir by Sasha Cross is a juicy, emotional second-chance romance packed with secrets, tension, and billionaire family drama. A one-night stand in Paris turns into a surprise reunion six years later in Montana… with a kid involved and the added chaos of him being her brother’s best friend. Convenient? Yes. Entertaining? Also yes.
Chase and Mia have undeniable chemistry, and their push-and-pull dynamic kept me turning pages. The emotional stakes are high, the banter is fun, and the kid (Noah!) absolutely steals the show — genuinely one of the strongest, most endearing child characters I’ve read in romance. Sasha Cross’s use of memory snippets works well to slowly unravel the past and explain character motivations.
That said, some choices frustrated me. Mia’s handling of the truth dragged on too long, the grovel felt a little light, and forgiveness came a bit too easily for my taste. Still, the emotional payoff works, and the story was engaging enough that I immediately wanted to continue the series (grumpy Ethan, I’m coming for you 👀).
Overall, a compelling, slightly messy but heartfelt romance that fans of surprise-baby and second-chance tropes will enjoy.

The characters express real feelings. What happened between them in Paris happens, but actually seeing that person again is rare. Considering they did not share last names, it was unfair that he blamed her for keeping his child from him for 5 years. Good book, kept me wanting to keep reading.

Very well written. Followed story the whole way. Didn't want to put it down. Made me want to move to the country!

Let's start by saying, I'm glad I read book three before book two. This is Mia and Chase's book. Unfortunately, the reader felt there was the standard template for this one. The one-night stand, find years later, unknown child, mad at each other, girl apologizes even though it's his fault, etc.

Chase was the typical rich male with attitude. It was never his fault. At the end he attempts to redeem himself but falls short. He acts like it's a huge imposition but for goodness' sake, technology proves he's just being a spoiled brat wanting attention for his sacrifice. Mia was the more interesting of the two. Her past is revealed and we understand why she did what she did. No, she shouldn't have apologized. The fact she did still sits my teeth on edge. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

A delightful read. Thank you Sasha Cross for a book that bases her stories about people first with the sex an important second.
