This is a sweet and steamy sci-fi homesteader novella. It’s the ninth release in the series but was originally part of the Pets in Space anthology. The books are all standalones and can be read in any order, this one only contains minor spoilers for other books in the series. Human FMC Ellie is content working alone on her parcel of land on Mars, things were pretty monotonous until she finds a little lizard creature she instantly falls in love with and decides to care for. She tries to hide it from cyborg ranger MMC L-485 (a.k.a. Levi), the male she’s been quietly crushing on, but when his investigation leads him into her bedroom, she decided it’s time to act on her feelings with a seductive distraction. This book is super cute and sweet, a fun, low-stakes, spicy Mars colonization story you can read in one sitting. I loved this addition to the Cyborgs on Mars series and can’t wait for more.     What a delightfully , easy read of this cyborgs of Mars !!!
    In this story , Ellie is on her very own claim. Her and her Mother were supposed to come together , but , plans change.
    Every few weeks , the local ranger always stops by to make sure the sweet , sexy Ellie is ok .
    She wishes he would do more .
    Unbeknownst to her , so does he !!!
    Levi had been gravely injured and consented to the cyborg surgery. After which, he was sent to Mars to Kay the foundations for the future claims. Him and his cybernetic ," horse " , Blaze . For years it was just him and Blaze and the other cyborgs and their " horses " . He always thought Ellie was special .....
    Too lovely for a non human like him .
    Until , one day, he actually does come in for tea .
    These books are a great get away for an hour or two !!! Looking forward to the next !!!!

    Of all of Honey Phillips series, her Mars Cyborg series is my hands down favorite. I think there is so much left in this universe left to explore, so I hope we'll see many many more Mars Cyborg books to come. My only disappointment in this story was that it was too short. Just like the previous two which have come to us via anthologies like Pets in Space. I'm not hating on anthologies, I just think that these wonderful characters deserve the time and word count to really develop themselves and their relationships. I hope we'll see more longer stories soon.

    Honey Phillips is one of my go to authors that write sweet romance in faraway places. This series the cyborgs on mars and the treasured by the aliens (I think I have series correct) I pre-buy and love re-reading them. Just recently started audiobooks and found this series there and oh my love that way of reading to. Please have more of your books available on audio.
