I GOT TROY!!!!!!!!!!! I went on a trip (which was exciting in itself) to the Gyle to exchange my extra copy of Hidalgo for Troy yesterday.... even the DVD case is nummy! I also watched Hidalgo for the first time yesterday, and while I spent a few minutes (okay, half the film) laughing at the Veegod's accent, I did enjoy it - slightly cheesy, and stereotyped, but still fairly kick-ass. Mainly due to the hot man and his horse.
Oh, I forgot to thank everyone for being all considerate about me being all ill (it sounds weird saying that - I never get ill!) - and thankee Nic for the card! *blushes* And Gilli for the DVDs - muchos hilarosity ensued!
In a way, this whole 'recuperating' thing has been cool - I haven't had to worry about driving, or schoolwork, or choosing a uni, or applying to unis for ages! It's like a mini-holiday, but with extra added lack of any real holiday to, say, Sweden.) But dammnit, all good things come to an end, so I now have the joyeous school photo on Friday to worry about - it's going to go in the yearbook, so it's how everyone will remember me.... and I do NOT photograph well! It's going to be a real challenge keeping my eyes open! And I feel I should probably do all my homework and folio and personal statement and all before I go back, given they were all due in weeks ago. Ho hum....
Still, I am soon to be the cousin of a famous rock star, so it's all good!
