Navel gazing
English was cool today, we were talking about dialects, and that somehow metamorphosed into how everyone has different facets to their personality, if that makes sense? I'm no good at explaining things.
But I just wondered if anyone else has anything to add - I know I talk and act differently in front of my grandpa, or on the phone, or even here. I always say 'yes' instead of 'yeah' when my grandpa's around, for example, and on LJ, I try not to mention the kind of negative things, because I know no-one likes to read gloom and doom! I don't mean negative events, I just try not to be all angsty, which (I hope) works, but does anyone else find this kind of thing?
I't not being false, it's just a different side of you, which is such a fascinating concept!
