Okay, first things first, I apologise for not replying to lots of your notes - I'm getting there! Hotmail's being uber-annoying, and saying that the links have expired the moment I open up the email, so it's becoming quite a challenge to manage to even read the reply....
Also, I've decided that it's FOD which keeps giving me viruses, reason being, every single time I go onto FOD, my comp disconnects itself. So, I know most peeps don't use their FODs much anymore, especially since the hacker, and I'm sorry if you do, but I won't be checking them anymore. Except maybe on school computers.
I found out today a really sad story about a friend - not a very close friend, which is why I didn't know before. Apparently her dad killed himself when she was quite young. Her older sister's now left home, so she was left to care for her disabled mum. Her mum died a couple of weeks ago. She's now living with various relatives, in different cities.
I admire her so much for being able to care for her mum, having had her dad commit suicide, and still not even mention it to me or any of my other friends who know her. The only reason I found out all of this was because a friend who goes to her school told me. But my heart goes out to her so much, imagine being orphaned so early in life! (I think she's just turned 16.) I can't believe she didn't ever mention this to anyone, and I feel so, so sorry for her...
It just totally puts things into perspective, especially thinking I was incredibly worried about a pair of glasses!
