The Uber Update...
Yo ho! I have returned from Chili-land!!! Here's my uber update of the last few days, but first,
Friday
Twas Jen's birthday, so twas, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! So we all went to her house, which is tres cool! (Owing in no small part to her Gollum cut-out, especially with it's freaking people potential and santa hat...) Anyways, c'etait tres amusant, AND we played Disney Trivial Pursuit!!!! Hypercool! We also watched Big Brother *cough* the less said about that the better... (it was eviction night, and one of the housemates up for eviction..... well, did not have a very secure top, and kept flashing everyone....) Anyway, twas very cool, (Friday, Jen's house etc, not the booby lady). PLUS twas my last day at ballet (dancing) before the holidays - last teaching is tomorrow. But you didn't need to know that.
Saturday
Sooooo, Sat I was at a '25 years of living in Edinburgh celebration', which we later learned was actually a 50th birthday party. Bowling, then barbeque, then alcohol stuff.... last time I was at a 50th birthday party, I split my head open, so all things considered, it went quite well. It was great fun, though, because I'm friends with the adults as well as the kids, and it was just cool to see everyone, and barbeques... Suffice to say, after two days of engorgement, (well, I was going to say it's very dubious if my trousers will fit, but they do, so hey...). Anyway, c'etait fantastique!
Sunday (aka Chili-day)

Yay, Chili-ness! We were at Murrayfield at about 1:20ish, having waited bloody aaaaaaages for a bus (my fault, sorry!), and waited til the gates opened at 4.... we finally got in at about 4:30, having met up with Louise, but not *deep breath* Pippa or Ewan or Jonno or Rebecca or Alice or Cara or anyone esle... but despite getting in early, we didn't get too near the front, because a tall convention decided to push in front of us between support acts, so we had to move back - I couldn't even see the rig, let alone the stage or screens! Ash were good, NERD were better in terms of getting the crowd excited, and the Chilis..... WOW!!!!!!! They rock. PLUS they played two of my fave songs, Under The Bridge and Give It Away, in the encore - but sadly no Suck My Kiss. But because we were stuck at the the back, we had plenty of space for dancing, and did the whole 'High on Life' thing (a phrase from last year's concert). And it totally didn't bother me that all the rest of our school seemed to have got in the very front row, and touched Pharrell and Flea... no, it didn't ruin it at all...
Chili Gilli!!!
