Ramblings....
EEEEE!
So, my computer has been weird.... it started randomly killing off my Word documents, with the consequence that a lot of new Elves In Spandex, and basically EVERYTHING I've typed in the last 2 years is gone forever. Bummer.
(I am actually totally gutted about this, booooooooo hoooooooo!)
Aaaaaanyway, I did a nice April quotes list, all my fave LJ quotes of the month, which OF COURSE was also deleted... but I did one from English as well (Jim calls US crazy?!) so I'll type that up tomorrow maybe...
Anyway, so recently, to summarise...
WE HAD A SWEDISH GUY COME TO OUR ENGLISH CLASS THE OTHER DAY, AND HIS NAME WASN'T SVEN!!!!! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! (Few people know that after LOTR and Orlando, Sweden is my third obsession (Ireland a close fourth). Actually, that's the weirdest thing about recently: I have so many in-jokes, and nobody who gets them anymore!!! :(
Another thing, I was thinking t'other day how much my life has changed since this time last year... I mean, in just about every possible way... that sounds really stupid, but it's pretty much true... I don't know if it's for the better or the worse, but... I don't know, everything's just changed sooooo much! (I don't know if Jo or Bing will remember parts of what I'm talking about, I think they might be the peeps who get this on the most levels.... - How PRETENTIOUS does that sound???!!!!!)

Other key point is..... : DRAMA ON TUESDAY!!!!!! UBER-PANIC!!!! I actually was crapping a brick, to pinch one of dear Bobby-Jobby's expressions earlier, especially after she misunderstood summat I'd said, and assumed I hadn't learned my lines... She shouted at me for 5 minutes! Oh, and told me I was going to fail a few times, too... cheers, MC! We were in school 11-4 today, which initially sucked, as it was maaaaaaaaaaajorly sunny, and we didn't actually DO anything til nearly 1 (for various reasons) but eventually we did our Antigone a couple of times.... but we were sooooo behind there was no time for CST.... which is the one I've never acted all the way through, yet. And this was our 'Dress Rehearsal' (What's tomorrow, then? A get-together?) Also, I'm in the first Antigone group, and the last CST group - the worst POSSIBLE placings, because we have to open, make a strong impression, set a standard, and then close, have a strong finish, and beat everything which came before. And this is not modesty, but I really can't act. B*ll*cks!!!
Bright side was, as I have such a heeeeooooge gap, I got to spend basically the whole afro outside..... sunburn in the parting, *winces* very painful!
Oh, but tomorrow we're having a PICNIC! (We spent lunch the other day planning our summer, ie picnics and beach barbeques, etc) and so a few of us are.... wait for it.... GOING TO THE BOTANIC GARDEN TO PLAY HIDE AND SEEK IN THE ROCK GARDEN AND THEN HAVE A PICNIC AND BUY ICE CREAM!!!! WOOOOOO!!!!!! Plus, Paul, and Becky are coming, so that should be cool.
Thinking re Harry Potter (just re-read all the books, and not only was the fifth book better, but I didn't cry when Sirius died...) I soooooooo can't wait til the POA, and the next book!!!! All in favour of sticking a firework up JK's ass...? Also, if you could play someone in the films, who would it be? I don't mean everyone, I mean within expectation - ie none of the characters who already have actors, and not boys if you're a girl.... I think.... I dunno, maybe Fleur Delacour? Oh, and also, what's peeps' dream castings? I'd envisaged sirius as a liiiiiiiittle bit like Aragorn (only darker hair and eyes) and HOW FUNNY would it be if Legolas (not Orli) had played Gilderoy Lockhart? Aaaanyways...
