Weeeeeee! Saw Harry Potter last night, and here are my impressions - without any spoilers (but you could hardly have spoilers given that EVERYONE'S READ THE BOOK!) *cough* Here goes:

* Hogwarts (and the Leaky Cauldron, for that matter) seem to have completely changed..... weeeeeeeeeeird....
* Dawn French (Fat Lady) and Emma Thompson (Sybill Trelawny) are both very good!
* Draco gets hotter as he gets older! *beams*
* Ron gets funnier as he gets older. Also, liking the Weasleys' hair (Fred, George and Ron).
* I swear Hagrid got taller...
* Should have been a bit longer - didn't feel like very long, and with more time they could have made it a bit more understandable to peeps who hadn't read the book. (All around me, wee kids were going 'What happened?' 'Why did he do that?' etc).
* Werewolf is pathetic!
* Sirius, while being good, is Wrong.
* We NEED more of the Weasleys!!!!!
* Why did Michael Gambon give Dumbledore a strongish Irish accent? Richard Harris didn't have such a strong accent?!
* DEMENTORS DON'T FLY!!!!!!

OMG, there's a new Georgia Nicholson book! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
....wow, thinge changed so much since the last one, I have no-one to read it with now... *cries*
Anyway, I'm going to scour the shops for it today! THEY HAVE A LORD OF THE RINGS PARTY!!!!!!!!

Ho hum..... Yet more random excerpts... Oh, I was looking on a site about Lousie Renniosn to try and find out what the new book's called, and I found this excellent interview... Here's one question...
Teenreads: And what about Georgia and Libby's names? Are we to assume Mutti and Vati were hippies at some point in the far distant past?

LR: The names are a bit mixed up. My sister, who was born when I was 11, was called Sophie and she has a daughter called Libby who is 4 and is bonkers!!!! Georgia is a name I always loved, I wanted to be called Georgia, my best friend wanted to be called Mary Leek, because leeks were her favourite vegetable...which is unusually mad.
