It was the BAFTAs last night (British equivalent of the Oscars) and *feigns calm* a certain film featuring elves, dwarves, hobbits, wizards, giant flaming eyes, and a certain Returning King won FIVE AWARDS!!!!!!!!!!!
They would be:
Best Film!
Orange (the sponsers) Film Of The Year, as voted for by the general public
Best Adapted Screenplay
Best Cinematography
Best Special Effects
I think this calls for an icon:
Just got The Lion King 3 (after lots of hassle, loooong story, and ended up getting it on DVD instead of video, but hey!) It's *frowns* okay...... like an extended episode of the Timon and Pumbaa TV series, or like a spoof of the other two films.....
Oh, and tis kinda freaky, I'm listening to 'Be Prepared' from the original film, and Scar (voiced by Jeremy Irons) sounds SO like Alan Ricknman at parts! (Namely the bit where he says 'No, we're gonna kill 'im!' Freeeeeeeeaky deaky!
Oh, and I also have to apologise for making peeps trek out of the 'mosh pit' on Saturday - I'm really not sure what happened, I just got kind of shaken and teared up, and when Jo asked if I wanted to move it seemed like a good idea...... Sowee! *blinks cutely*
Oh, and one final thing, does anyone have any songs they recommend I download? I feel the need....
