Life is strange. We did acting in Drama yesterday, it was really unusual, but really good fun. I do like my Drama class, I get on with everyone in it (barring the obvious) - regardless of whether we ever have talked out of class, or whether or not we liked each other prior to class. We all get on. Drama is generally the class where I have the most fun - we so many 'drama jokes', and can all talk about the same things for ages. And I enjoy the acting, when we do any. yet Drama is one of my least favourite subjects, because we almost always do writing, not acting. And it's not even writing, because I enjoy that, it's copying from the board or dictation, and then learning. It's sad to think that I'll never do Drama again at school after this year, but I won't miss Drama as a Higher subject, just as a Standard Grade and a class....
Another way that life is strange is that now, almost 5 months on, I still keep expecting, hoping that every time the phone rings or the doorbell goes that it'll be her, apologising, making everything right. It's still my reaction, even now. I just couldn't conceive of things never being right again, never being the same again on the night, although I dreaded and felt that they would be. I don't know what I thought would be happening now, but I was truly devastated. I guess I still am. Even though I swore I wouldn't, I've still tried countless times to make up, or improve relations, but it ain't happening. people keep telling me it's obviously not what she wants/intends, but how can I extinguise that spark of hope?
But still, in the words of take That, and I know I've quoted them before, I think now it really is time to give up...
