Notes (1)

For a while now, in Substack’s Notes, I’ve been posting occasional haiku-like poems along with photos I’d taken. I thought I’d reproduce some in small batches, sometimes revised. Enjoy these three today.
light like a razor
extracts green from blue
summer at an end
autumn’s waves roll in
storm children at the shore’s edge
break into a sun dance
picnickers gone you’ve found your spot wrap yourself in ocean

Individually beautiful. Potent as a collection.
Three haiku together
Slices waters waves
Draws you to see life joy.
