In Partner Center, AI Business Solutions & Security Insights is a unified reporting dashboard that provides Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) reporting and data insights for customers, such as product usage, licensing, upsell opportunities, workload health, incentives, and referrals.
Within the Growth Opportunities section of AI Business Solutions & Security Insights, hundreds of signals such as marketing engagement, licensing, and usage are distilled into actionable insights at account level. These insights enable partners to make data-driven decisions for their organization, and to identify new opportunities for growing customer and business success.
Partners can also track their progress towards meeting Modern Work performance measurement requirements within the Microsoft Commerce Incentives (MCI) Performance section of the dashboard.
Inside the FastTrack Referrals section, FastTrack partners can get access to all FastTrack referrals in one location, along with a list of tenants that have been assigned to their partner organization.
Why Am I Seeing No Data in AI Business Solutions & Security Insights?
AI Business Solutions & Security Insights displays data only for customers and partners who meet specific eligibility and role requirements in Partner Center. If you see an empty dashboard or missing tenants, review the following:
Partner Association: Data appears only for customers where your organization is associated with either: CSP (Cloud Solution Provider), or CPOR (Claiming Partner of Record). Customers engaged through other programs, for example, MCI (Microsoft Commerce Incentives), EA (Enterprise Agreement), or ECIF (End-Customer Investment Funds), won't display data unless they're also linked through CSP or CPOR.
Role-Based Access: You must have the correct Partner Center role to access Insights data: Report Viewer or Executive Report Viewer. To verify:
Go to partnercenter.microsoft.com and sign in. Then go to the Dashboard.
Select the Settings icon > Account Settings > User Management.
Find your user account and open Partner Center Account Details.
Under View data and reports for one or more locations, ensure:
- The box is checked, and
- Entire Organization or the appropriate MPN locations are selected.
- Role = Report Viewer or Executive Report Viewer.
(If filtered by specific MPNs, you’ll only see tenants tied to those MPNs.)
Customer Size Thresholds:
Copilot and secure productivity tabs:
- SMB/SMC tenants: Data is shown only for customers with more than 25 Copilot eligible licenses.
- Enterprise tenants: Data is shown only for customers with more than 150 Copilot eligible licenses.
Enterprise Agreement (EA) Data: EA renewal dates are only visible if your organization is the transacting EA partner.
