If a user is part of multiple Azure Active Directory (AD) tenants, how can they be switched to the correct tenant in Volume Licensing Central?
Switching to the correct tenant
- Sign in to Volume Licensing Central.
- Select Settings (gear icon) in the top navigation bar.
- Scroll down to find the segment that’s highlighted in the following screenshot.
- Check if you’re present in the multiple tenants in the dropdown menu. Verify that you’re switched to the root tenant (which has the domain @yourorganizationname.com). If you’re not switched to that tenant, select the correct tenant and select Apply.
- Sign out and then sign back in to Volume Licensing Central.
- Check if you can now access Volume Licensing Central.
Switching a tenant from Azure portal On rare occasions, you might have switched to a different tenant on Azure portal and the Volume Licensing Central tenant has also changed by extension.
