For basic email functions, it works. Rules features doesn't work at all. Cannot rename mailboxes (for example, by defaylt it calls your mailbox the same name as your email address - you can't change it to "Gmail" or "iCloud.") I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole for enterprise use.
Reliability: 3.0
Rules feature flat-out doesn't work at all. Spam filter could use some polish, it's less "intuitive" than Apple Mail. Sometimes mailbox names (your email address - see Features comment above) don't appear.
Customer support: 2.0
Spent some time trying to fix the non-working rules problem. Eventually the developers stopped responding, I am not sure why. Vanished into the ether, I suppose.

One of the best constantly updated synced between computers and you can store your emails on your own computer and they are in the standard interchange format eml. I have many accounts and it handles them with ease the app has build in features which you have to often buy plugin to to get equivalent features.

Years ago I gave it a shot and ran into all the problems described in the reviews here. Apparently things have not changed. I agree, it is a pity, lots of wasted potential.

Looks nicer than Apple Mail. But there are some minor-ish issues that persist, and support from the developer dropped off into the ether with no solution in sight. Overall if you're looking for a decent minimal client this would do nicely.
- Rules flat-out do not work. Never have. Developer wasn't much help after asking for screenshots and telling me to rebuild them (tried that one several times).
- Spam filter could use some serious polish. For the most part, it waits for you to tell it that a particular email is spam. Which is a bit of a pain. A third-party spam filter would be a must.
- Names of accounts cannot be changed, which is different from earlier versions of the app. Also the main mail account name (which by default is your email address) sometimes will not appear, leaving a blank space (the icon for the account still shows).
