hoo boy did i miss the mark this year (,,꒪꒫꒪,,)
i had tons of stuff planned but - excuse time! - it just didn't pan out. there were family emergencies, i started up a business, lots of traveling back and forth across the country (and, in one instance, the world), and my own personal issues. i didn't push out nearly as many words and stories as i wanted this year. i can't promise next year will bring more, but i'm certainly going to try (๑ ˊ͈ ᐞ ˋ͈ )ƅ̋

thank you to everyone who stuck around this year despite the abysmal turnout, and to those who just popped in! all of your comments (on here and ao3) have been so wonderful and i keep them close to my heart ♡

i promised more exo fics which has gone undelivered - but i can say that throughout january i'll be working on a jundae fic i have partially planned out. i've got 3 unfinished fics (2 shinee, 1 vixx) that i'll be working on as well and, as ridiculous as this may sound, i have a list of about 10+ things that i'll be chipping away at during 2017. i'm hoping that things will be more settled next year (or that - at the very least - i'll hitch myself to a post and refuse to be budged) and i'll be able to make some of these ideas into actualities (一。一;;）the final part (hakyeon's part) of the quiet verse will be out within the next week

so now on to the actual word count

i didn't meet last year's count by far, but i was still able to do better than 2014. unfortunately, a lot of the work is still in progress/not posted (did i really only post 3 fics this year?) but !! that just means that there's more ready for next year!

firstly i'd like to thank everyone who's read (and commented!) on my stories this year!! i'm honestly blown away by the comments you guys leave and, even though the number may be small to some people, it means the world to me ｡：ﾟ(｡ﾉω＼｡)ﾟ･｡ i know i'm really bad at responding in a timely matter but every single comment means so much to me and i absolutely am reading them and i cannot even tell you guys how amazed i am that anyone likes the patched up little pieces of words i call stories. thank you all, so much ˚‧⁺(͘๑̊/﹏)⁺‧˚

secondly, for those who may still be waiting: i will definitely be writing more of my vixx quiet verse!!! i promised to have it here earlier and there were complications (life, nanowrimo, christmas - excuses excuses) but while writing it last week i realized that it might be more parts than originally anticipated. so i'll be organizing and writing and - i'm keeping myself to this!! - there will be two parts out by the end of january!!!

((also, for anyone looking, there will be more exo fics in 2016! i have several planned and i've noticed that this journal is severely lacking in exo compared to shinee and vixx ｡(*´ｪ｀*)ゞ i'll get that all sorted out and i'll try to finish the exo nano piece i worked on this year as well!))

i guess the word count thing is mostly for myself, so that i can keep challenging myself to write more and more each year. last year i was able to manage about 44.7k but i honestly surprised myself with what i was able to accomplish this year: i wrote the usual suspects in five weeks and i was able to successfully complete nano - two things i never would have dreamed i'd ever be able to do (。･o･｡)
