How to get dotHYPE Airdrop?
1. Prepare USDC on Arbitrum
1.1. Buy USDC on Binance or another exchange, or bridge USDC to Arbitrum using a service like Rhino Bridge.
1.2. Ensure you have enough USDC to cover the .hype domain cost and transaction fees.
2. Deposit USDC to Hyperliquid
2.1. Go to the Hyperliquid platform.
2.2. Connect your compatible wallet.
2.3. Deposit your USDC from Arbitrum into Hyperliquid.
3. Purchase HYPE tokens
3.1. Open the spot market section on Hyperliquid.
3.2. Select the HYPE/USDC pair.
3.3. Buy enough HYPE tokens to cover your desired domain(s), considering domain length and registration period.
4. Transfer HYPE to HyperEVM
4.1. In Hyperliquid, locate the option labeled “Transfer to EVM.”
4.2. Use this option to move your HYPE tokens from Hyperliquid to HyperEVM.
4.3. Wait until the transfer is fully confirmed on-chain before continuing.
5. Access the dotHYPE application
5.1. Go to the official dotHYPE website.
5.2. Click “Connect Wallet” and approve the connection in your wallet.
5.3. Select “Launch the App” to open the domain registration interface.
6. Register a .hype domain
6.1. In the app, type your desired domain name into the identity name field.
6.2. Choose a registration period (1 year is commonly recommended for cost efficiency).
6.3. Review the displayed price in both HYPE and USD.
6.4. Click “Mint Name.”
6.5. Confirm the transaction in your wallet and wait for blockchain confirmation.
7. Verify your domain
7.1. After confirmation, check that your .hype domain appears as registered to your wallet address in the app.
8. Optional steps to maximize potential rewards
8.1. Consider registering multiple strategic domains (short, memorable, or commercially relevant names) if it fits your risk tolerance.
8.2. Plan to hold domains long-term rather than selling immediately, as holding duration often matters in similar projects.
