tonight was the Good Charlotte concert. and it was awesome.
I had a perfect line of vision to the sexiest man alive.
and afterward, I waited for well over an hour.
and he came out.
and signed my shirt.

well, kinda.
this year has been very topsy-turvy in terms of my emotions, and the world affecting me. I’m not really sure how I want to continue feeling for the upcoming months and years, because I feel like a jumbled mess inside. basically, here’s what’s happened so far...
JANUARY:
1- the year started out decent. I was with my family (7 of my cousins, my brother, my mom, 2 aunts, my uncle, my cousin’s 2 kids, my boyfriend, a cousin’s girlfriend, a cousin’s boyfriend, and a cousin’s "just friends" ex-girlfriend... oh and my grandparents’ dog. full house right?) and my mom got a little tipsy, and you know how she’s normally a talker? this opened up a whole bunch of stories which I had already known, but the cousins apparently all heard different things... and I learned a few new things... it was interesting to say the least.
3- Ryan and I celebrated our 2-year anniversary! we’re pretty lame, so no gifts, and we went out for pizza. but it’s nice to know that I can tolerate someone for that long.
4- I wasn’t there, but this is the day Breezy left for Idaho. I hung out with her the week before so it wasn’t like I hadn’t seen her lately... but it’s still sad. I miss her tons.
5- Avs vs Islanders. Avs won. my first NHL game! and kinda sorta an anniversary present from Ryan’s parents?
mid-January- Ryan’s friend Alex was involved in a bad car accident, which left him in the hospital with leg and head injuries, both of which I’m not sure of the details on...
22- school started up again. my schedule this semester allowed me to see Arielle more often, which is awesome since she and Katy are the only local girl friends I really have anymore... I also have a class with Ryan, which is nice.
25- Jeremiah was charged with 3 counts of careless driving resulting in death, which can bring up to 3 years in jail, along with tickets for having too many passengers and being out past curfew.
26- my 19th birthday. spent most of the day with Arielle, then Ryan got us and took us to Leela’s. Chris Miterko was already there, then Jeremy showed up, then Matt brought Katy down. THEN!!!!!! VICTORIA CAME UP FROM THE SPRINGS JUST FOR ME!!!!!! first time I saw her in like 2 years... it was awesome. Kevin and Andrea showed up later in the night, and Kevin thought it was pretty exciting to see Victoria since he hadn’t seen her since we were in middle school. Chris Vestman was working that night, and then his parents decided not to let him come out, but that’s a whole other rant. it was a fun night, except for having to work the next day.
31- Avs vs Blackhawks game... my birthday present from Ryan. Hawks lost. but I had fun rooting for the opposing team.
FEBRUARY:
8- Arielle turned 19. but since she never called me about her party, I don’t really have anything else to say about it. (it sounds like I’m pissed, but I’m really not. from what she told me happened, I probably wouldn’t have had much fun anyway.)
10- Ryan and I went to see the CSO as homework for my music class. it was a nice Valentiney show. and my first professional orchestra concert, unless you count the time I saw Peter and the Wolf with my 6th grade class.
14- Valentine’s Day! I honestly can’t remember what we did that day, so it must not’ve been too exciting... I’m gonna feel pretty dumb if it was awesome. I also got a phone sometime this week.
16- possibly best day of the year so far... started out at Leela’s with Ryan, Katy, and Chris Vestman. Katy got a brand new freaking car this week... her aunt is wonderful. anyway, from there we all piled into Chris’s car and went to Tattered Cover, where we met up with Matt and Ryan infamously said "I think Hunter S. Thompson’s coming here to speak!" (you are no longer my friend if you don’t get that.) then we went out to Pete’s, where we ate again... on the way there we almost got killed. seriously. Chris drives this tiny-ass car, and we turned left *on a green light* and this car comes right through the intersection... if Katy hadn’t started screaming, Chris probably wouldn’t have stopped and who knows what would’ve happened. after Pete’s (where our waitress was a real bitch) we went to the pool hall, where we met up with Jeremy and Gilbert. it was a fun night.
28- my first speech in public speaking (on prescription drug abuse, my topic for the entire semester). my grandpa was wonderful and came to watch me, which I invited him to because he’s basically been telling me how to speak in front of people since 3rd grade... he and my teacher both told me I did wonderfully... I got an A.
29- LEAP DAY! and Tori came down, so we finally took her to Leela’s. this also marks the day Katy got a MySpace to join the rest of the civilized world.
MARCH:
2- first time I saw Preety since August! we went to Red Lobster so she could yell at some guy she used to work with, then we went to lunch at Atlanta Bread. we gossiped about our Green Mountain pornstar (whose page has since been taken down). it was a fun couple of hours.
early March- my brother’s first baseball season of high school started. I really don’t like the way this team is treating him though. first he got "left off" the list of kids who made the team, and the list was posted on a Friday so of course he spent the whole weekend angsting. then because of that, he didn’t get his uniform right away since he wasn’t at the celebration, so he wasn’t supposed to play in the first game. they let him play anyway. this is also when I met his girlfriend. she’s alright.
15- I celebrated St. Patrick’s Day when I was supposed to. because I am a good Catholic and don’t celebrate saint’s days during Holy Week.
23- Easter... I can drink caffeine again! spent the day cleaning the restaurant, as we do every year. it went better this year than most, so it was nice. went to White Fence Farm with my family for dinner. fun night.
26- attempted to see Jeremiah... I figured that getting my dad’s birthday card would be a good excuse to go to Hallmark... but of course he got off right before Steven and I showed up.
27- MY DAD TURNED 50! he’s an old man, people. he asked me if he had to register with AARP or if they just start sending him stuff. I asked him why the hell he was asking me. I’m 19, got another 31 years to go.
28- Jeremiah’s sentencing. 2 years probation, 300 hours of community service, and 10 days in jail. MUCH less than I was expecting. I still had a couple friends call me to worry about it. 10 days is not that big of a deal, compared to the 3 years he could’ve gotten.
29- my cousin Bridget turned 30, old lady.
30- Jeremiah started his 10-day sentencing. I am a little worried about him because of who he is and how he is, but it’ll be over soon.

so this, along with some other things I didn’t want to mention, is why I’ve been kind of bipolar so far this year.
I’ll try to update every few months or so, along with some random shit in between.
