When we're younger, we don't adjust to things easily. We refuse to accept in the quickest route. We seek more perfection. We want everything to go our way. But as we are older, we become lenient. We're alright with things not going our own way.

I just saw Harry Potter [OH YES.] about an hour ago and it was friggin' AWSOME. I loved it! It needed to be long though. The 5th book was the longest book out all 6 books! And.. It's a pretty short movie, IMO. Only about 2 hours long. Even Transformers is longer than Harry Potter. When it was at the climax part, it always made me jump! So awesome. ;]

When we were at the kissing scene of Harry and Cho, one girl screamed out "NO!!", It was funny. xD

NOOOOO. SIRIUS.. NOOO NOO NOOOO!!!!!!!!!
I know that Sirius is gonna die in the movie because I've read the book before, but in the movie they made it look so quick and dramatic. Poor Harry. I really really hate Umbridge and Bellatrix. I really like Nymphadora Tonks, though! She's really pretty. Her hair is awesome. I was devastated because Sirius died. And at the end of the movie, it made me sad because Dumbledore said "I care too much about you" to Harry.. And and..
in the 6th book. He dies!
In the middle of the movie, it's sad on how Sirius said "Don't worry, when all of this is over, we'll have a better family" or something along those terms. But, they can't have a better family, 'cuz Sirius is DEAD. ¡Crucio!</div>

Boiled Eggs, Anyone?

I tried boiling eggs today. My first try, I waited for the water to boil, and when it was boiling, I put the egg in the pan. The water was hot and very smoky, so I the >hot< water splashed and the egg cracked. The white stuff came out and it got cooked. I waited about 3 mins. or so, my sister said "It's done", and I said "I don't think so...". Few minutes later, I took it out. I opened it, and the yellow stuff was still liquid. Nasty. Ok, I wasted an egg right there. In my 2nd try, I was succesful. :) Yay me.

I saw Transformers on Friday night. IT WAS FRIGGIN' AWESOME. Seriously. You HAVE to watch that movie before you die. I'd SO buy the DVD and watch it more than 2 times. I also saw Ratatouille on... I think Tuesday night (2 weeks ago). It was good! I know you think that it's a kiddy movie and all, but it's a great movie.

Photoshop has been gooooood.

I've been downloading Photoshop brushes for an hour straight. Now I have to unzip about 35 files..
I need more icon textures but it's kinda weird, when I get a lot of textures, I don't get a lot of brushes. And then when I get a lot of brushes, which is today, I don't get a lot of textures, I just got about 2 textures, that's it.

This is my first icon tutorial and I hope that you like it. I recommend dark pictures with flowers/objects/nature. I'm not sure with pictures with people. You can find nature/object pictures here.

[x] I'm not sure if it's translatable or not.
[x] Uses Hue/Saturation and Color Balance
[x] Need some basic Photoshop Knowledge

1. Crop your base. Sharpen once or more if needed.

2. Duplicate (Layer > Duplicate Layer) base 3 times.

3. 1st and 2nd duplicated base, set to Screen 100%

4. 3rd duplicate, set to Overlay 100%

5. Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation.
Master

OMG. I am sososo tired. I just came from Tennis camp an hour ago and I'm still tired. We ran a lot. My sides hurted like crazy, I thought I was gonna throw up. I kept on dropping my racquet, like maybe 3 or more times. It was soooo hot too. About 94F and I waa there, standing and running and hitting the ball. Dude, I don't wanna get mega-tanned. I like my fair skin.
I started summer school yesterday and it's going pretty good, I guess.. It's math, so it's like, whatever. o_O
It's SOOO hot!

I just HAD to post an entry for today.

I went to a party yesterday. It was fun. I also went swimming.
13 more days until school ends. Not counting the weekends. ;)
The night of Graduation Day, there's gonna be a dance, and I'm going. But, there's a problem.... I don't have a dress!!
I loooove Photoshop! Srsly, I've been downloading brushes, textures and other stuff. I'm starting to get better at Photoshop.... I guess. Sometimes, I look at other people's work, it's 100 times better than mine. That kinda brings me down. But, one day, I'll be awesome at Photoshop. ONE DAY. And, I might post some of the banners&icons I've been making for the past week(s).

Nothing Much To Talk About

Hey there,

Nothing really exciting happened today.
Last night, I talked to Jack for the 2nd time [yayzz]
We talked about the mall, california, new york, chicago, some 40 year old getting pierced... and some other stuff. I talked to him for 7 minutes and 38 seconds. It was fun. Jack is such a random dude, but he's awesome. I'll try calling again. I didn't get to talk to the guys though, they were probably tired from their show last night. Wish me luck. 18 more days until school ends. =]
I also got Adobe Photoshop CS2 over the weekend. Which is very awesome.. Thank you so much, Erica! <3 I made some icons, too. Some of them look good, some of them don't. I still need to learn a few more basics in Photoshop. I can't find any good tuturial oh Photoshop CS2. If you know one, comment please. I wanna be awesome at Photoshop and make dazzling icons and pictures. Thanks. I also got a haircut on Saturday. I grew my hair short.

OH MY SANTI.

Something super super super amazing happened last night.
Here's THE story.
CLiCKKK.

I turned off my computer. Picked my ipod up and started listening to it. While listening to it, I was heading to my bedroom. I took my phone with me. I sat on my bed and decided to call The Academy Is... (TAI). On the first try, my call went directly to the voicemail. I tried again. I put it on speaker and it was ringing. I wasn't expecting anyone to answer but, suddenly, I heard "hello?"

Guy: Hello?
Me: HI!!! Is this T-A-I??
Jack: Yeahh... This is Jack.
Me: Hi!!!!!
At this point, I didn't know who Jack was and I was probably speaking 100 miles an hour.
Jack: So, what are you doing?
Me: Listening to Santi, of course.
Jack: Oohh. Cool. Where are you right now?
Me: At home..
Jack: Noo, I mean where are you from?
Me: California
Jack: I used to live in california when I was little (I think that's what he said...)
Me: Oh, really?! Cool!
Me: So, where are the guys (TAI)?
Jack: oh, they're pretty much scattered right now..
Jack: What's your name?
Me: Kathleen
Jack: Oh, I'll just tell the guys that you have a message for them. Sounds good?
Me: yeah, yeah.
Jack: Sorry you can't talk to the guys right now, I can't find them.
Me: OH, that's ok! I'll just call again.
Jack: Ok. Bye (I think that's what he said)
Me: Bye

*INSERT HYPERVENTILATING GIRL HERE*

Conversation Length: 1 Minute and 19 Seconds.

After that, I completely found out who Jack was. JACK THE CAMERA GUY. My mind went completely blank while I was talking to him. The conversation could've been longer if I knew who he was at first. I didn't even compliment him about his TAI TV work. :(
Oh well. I hope I'll get a chance to get to talk to them again.
THAT WAS SO AMAZINGLY OUTSTANDINGLY AWESOME. That was one of the best moments of my life. Even though I didn't get to talk to the band, it still counts. Jack is a pretty cool guy! He has an accent, too. :)

Heading to today's happenings.

I was laughing my butt off today at lunch at school. It was soooo funny. We were talking about Tyra falling off a chair and the video repeated it over and over and over again and it's in slow mo too. Sounded like Chubacka too. HAHAHAHAHAHAH. And we were talking about Jessica (my friend) dressing up like a guy because the guy that she likes always go to the bathroom and she wants to find out what they're doing in the bathroom.

LOLZ. I'mma freak.

I wanna go to the Honda Civic Tour so bad! But, one problem, I have no one to go with! One of the tour dates even has floor tickets. general admission, too! What a waste. My mom said yeah, I can go.. But, my sister, said no. My mom said that she could go with me, I said no way.

Today was cool! Well. After school, it started being cool. Anyways. I do the things I mostly do on the computer. Check email, go to thfanclub, yadda yadda yadda. And, there's a new update in Tokio Hotel's UK Site. Click. The band has english messages for the fans. I was all "WHAZZ". And then I listened to them. Their accent sounds sooooooooooooooooooo funny!! After I heard Tom's voice, I was all Gustav has the best voice..in english. xD. Georg's voice is sooooo low. Bill's accent is soo funny. I love the way he says his h's and he says "the" like "ze".. Like, ze album. They sound uncomfortable, though. The general shout out one, they sounded like freakin' army people.. LOLOLOLOLOL.

So. I haven't been talking about The Academy Is...'s phone thing. But starting now, I will. BECAUSE, their phone is back on! YAYAY. Some people got to talk to them. I even texted TAI! The message said "Hey TAI! I really hope that I'll get a chance to talk with you guys. SANTI."
I hope they received it..
I'm gonna start bringing my phone anywhere with me. Even the bathroom.

Today was an ok day. I used my 30STM wristband today [YAY]. I got the hang of it. I might post a pic of me wearing the wristband next time when I post a new journal entry.
Finally, testing is over!!!!!!!!! Yay. I mostly guessed on History. Lolz.

Hai.

I pretty much felt awkward today at school during periods 1 through 3. I dunno why. Whatev. My friends and I have been speaking IM the wholeeee day. It was hilarious. And at lunch, we were laughing like maniacs 'cuz of the latest Scary Movie movie, the guy at the beginning, he was supposed to take his vitamins, but he took something else. And yeah.
The weather totally lied today. It didn't even feel like 81 degrees outside. It felt like 74 or 75 degrees.

I hate it when people IM you, and they just say hi and they say nothing else. Like, one of my friends, here's the convo, or something among those lines. My memory isn't really good.. right now;

I've been speaking IM the whole day today, with my friends. Today was a very boring day. It was really hot. It felt like summer. I checked the weather. I felt a bit left out-ish a bit today. But, whatever. Over it. Music is my obsession. It's a great getaway when everything is going wrong. I love it. <3
I listened to "Almost Here" by The Academy Is... It's their album and I just listened to it. And, I realized how good the songs were. I've listened to the songs before. But, it felt different when I was listening to it today. I'm listening to 30 Seconds to Mars right now. I've been listening to their songs today, don't know why. But, I guess it's because I haven't listened to them in a while. It's because of Tokio Hotel and The Academy Is... hehe. Anyway. The songs sound better. I'm serious. I know, it's weird. But, woah. I like all of the bands that I like more and more each day. Hope that made sense.

I really hope that I'll get to talk to TAI sometime this weekend. I even had the thoughts of giving up.

Hiya.

The weather is so weird. It was cold this morning (cloudy).. and around 12 pm, the sun started shining out, and it was extremely hot. Stupid Global warming. We need to recycle people! Poor Polar Bears. So sad! The ice is melting in Antartica and and the polar bears are dying 'cuz of the lack of ice.

So. I checked my friends page, and there was only 1 page of my friends' posts. I was all "what's up with that??".. It's like, the day is dead. And this is the first time that my friends page only has 1 page of new posts. Weird, I know. Maybe Global Warming is affecting my friends page! Ohz Noez!

I'm starting to give up on TAi. Grr. Must. Not. Give. Up. Calling. Them. I wonder how much this month's bill is gonna be.. Hm. ☻

Here's my journal entry for the day.

I called TAI 96583904 times today. It rang. I let it ring. After a few rings, the voicemail came up. I tried again and again and again. The dial tone thingy kept on ringing! That means that the phone is on. No one was answering the phone. That made me sad. It was my chance to talk to them, but they didn't answer. I wonder why. It kinda makes me feel relaxed just to hear the dial tone ring. Hmm.
Yay for friends only posts. ;]
I don't really have anything to type here...Today was pretty much boring. I wanted starbucks so bad. I looove Starbucks! I finally decided, my new ringtone will be............................ Chop Chop - TAI!!!!!!!!!!! SANTi y'all! It's not in my phone right now, my sister has to do some stuff. I'm thinking about having a folder with TAI pictures. I wonder... Hmmm.

It was a cold day today. A bit windy, too. I checked the weather that it was gonna rain tomorrow. I love rainy days. They're so awesome. Picspams are mega-awwmazing.

I pretty much overused Santi today. It sucks. I felt a bit crappy in 5th period (kind of).. I know why, and I don't know why at the same time. I was too talkative today...I'll try to shut myself up tomorrow. I hate it when I become too talkative and too hyper. Grrrrrrr, dude.

I've been trying to call TAI all day today! It sucks. My call didn't even go through once, today. I wanna talk to TAI soo bad. Someday, I will. Hah. I totally wish.

I got my custom moodthemes now!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY TOOK FOREVER. I'm serious. They were kinda stressing me out. W/E.

I called TAI today, and I told myself, "Don't hang up, don't hang uppp!!!".. So I let the phone ring for 3 times, and I hang up. I read their community today and it said that they were going back to O'Hare. N000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000. *is sad* I should've called them... and not hang up. I hate myself right now. Sometimes, I should just do it. The whole TAI thing is like going into my head. I had a dream that I was with TAI and we were at this one circus town. And the other dream was.. Mike Carden texted me saying "What up?".. Weirddddddddddddd.

My obsessions lead me to weird places.

Next is Tokio Hotel, so I read that they'll be doing a chat on Habbo (it's this one 2-D place, really weird). I signed up and I had a hard time signing up 'cuz all of the words were in german. I had to copy the words and paste them into the translator. -_-;

Ooh.. Btw, I ate expired Hot Cheetos the other day. Just to let you know.

O Hai!

I called TAI during 12 pm/1 pm.. Around that time, but anyway, I called them, the dial tone rang. I got scared, and hang up. I wish I didn't do that! I think it wasn't the perfect time to call them 'cuz my sister was there. After I hang up, I kept on squeeling. And my sister was all "What is wrong with you?!".. I ~~will~~ hope that I will get to talk to them and not make a fool out of myself. I'm a horrible phone person. And, I don't like being on the phone.. Well, sometimes, yeah. So, after the whole squeeling thing, my hands were extremely cold. They were purple. Am I scaring you with my obsession? I'm sorry, but I have to continue. It was very windy outside, too. I wanna watch Jimmy Kimmel, but it's like at 12 am. I must watch it! TAI is gonna be there. Everytime I would read that someone has talked to them and they say that they were really nice.. It's like.. "aww, I wanna talk to them, too!" I hope I'm brave enough to talk to them. It's a once in a lifetime thing!! =0 *breathes*

And about the phone thing, I'm sorry if the bill is over $200. Really really sorry. =[

I'm thinking about changing my ringtone. it's between "Neighbors" or "Chop Chop" (both are by TAI). I'm looking for the one that has a really awesome and energetic beginning. I just figured this out, I can get a Tokio Hotel song in my phone, through BlueTooth! Hah. Awesomeee. <3

It makes me jealous on how people have really awesome graphics.
