Creepy Little Poem #69
Mad carnival rides gallop across plains
like amphetamine-driven wheels
come to steal peace.
Glittering eyes spinning sight,
defy decency and pry into electric blue windows,
mockery of the Oraphim, come to visit Ezekiel,
unholy weapons of the Beast.
America The Beautiful has much to make amends
from purple mountain majesty out to the darkened seas,
and hope rises dimly with the sun in the threatened east.
Fires rain like stars falling from the sky,
whether angels sent to join us or cast like diamonds in the night,
we gather them like jewels of hope
and set this world alight.
Author’s Note:
The world spinning in chaos still has bright moments of light. Not the artificial modern day casino out of control kind of light that wants to distract us but the good kind found inside kind people, animals and nature, and I may even add found in transcendent presence.

Thank you! I'm always happy to hear that the creepy element worked.
Nice and creepy for sure. Hehe. I like "electric blue windows". Very cool.
