Housekeeping

I've been thinking about this since I stopped crossposting. Ever since I made that decision and stopped trying to keep up with news about LiveJournal-as-a-service, I've been feeling much happier, a lot less stressed.

So, and this should come as a shock to nobody (esp. since I never resumed crossposting after May, like I said I would), I'm officially stating that I'm not doing the crossposting thing anymore.

I'm still reading my flist. I check every couple of days; occasionally I comment (but I've always been mostly a lurker, so that's no change!)

House keeping:

There will be no new entries to this journal from here on out.

All my current public entries will be locked. I thought about making them private, but this way if you're on my flist here but not on DW, I don't lock you out of old entries/comment threads.

This has been true for a while now, but I've closed as many lines of communication from LJ as I can (including all vgifts, etc).

Exception: I'm still on ljtalk.

Hopefully this goes without saying, but -- I'm still regularly reading my flist, maybe not as often as I did before, but still reading regularly. And I'm not defriending anyone (unless you let me know that you've moved your primary journal elsewhere, in which case I'll just shift my reading of you there, then).

My LJ-specific Greasemonkey scripts are still up, but I suspect will eventually bitrot from receiving no love. If anyone decides to adopt/adapt them, I'd be happy to put up links to your version. (...do I need to do a licensing thing? bah)

Anything else?

Also, if you're over on Dreamwidth and I missed adding you, let me know :)
