In general I'm a pretty easy person to please. So happy to see that we've made a match! Clearly, you have good taste in fandoms. Please note, while the basic stuff will not change this post will likely change approximately 100 times between now and posting. I'm sorry, my brain is just PFFFT.

I like:
Romance - From beginning to end, the start of a new love or the continuation of an established relationship, I am head over heels with people in love. OTP, OT3, Poly - it's all good.

Smut - Porn without plot or within the plot, I love a good explicit story. I'm also on the kinky side with a love for D/s relationships, spanking, big/little, crossdressing, femdom, multiple orgasms... yeah, I'm all over the place. Sex is always welcome in my gifts, but by no means required!

Curtain!fic - The best generic catch-all for stories that have elements of gen, romance, couplehood, and slice-of-life. I'm a big fan of vignette stories as opposed to sweeping epic tales. I dislike:
Crack!Fic - Sometimes it's okay, but on the whole... no. I know I take my fandom too seriously.

AU - Not a big fan, just not my thing really. Alternate timelines, fix-it fic, and insert scenes/episodes are totally fine though!

Critical Role (Web Series):

Okay, so if you're not familiar with Critical Role and we matched on something else you might want skip by this as it's a LOT of canon to consume. At current they have 63 episodes that range in length from 3-5 hours. If you happen to have a ton of time on your hands, though, Critical Role is an absolutely addictive Twitch series (archived on Youtube HERE) where Nerdy Ass Voice Actors play Dungeons & Dragons. I can't even begin to explain it, if you're curious do yourself a favor and watch the first episode to get an idea of what I'm talking about.

I absolutely ADORE Critical Role, and if we match on it please know I'd be happy with pretty much anything. I like gen, team stuff, team family, and shippy stuff of any rating. My absolute favorite character is Gilmore.

My guilty pleasure request and trashlove. Don't judge me. I'm all about the OT3 Taliesin/Matt/Marisha and the their closeness. If you're uncomfortable with shippy stuff or smut (which I totally understand and do not judge you for) some day-in-the-life gen fun stuff would be excellent too!

Galavant (TV):

Galavant is an unfortunately short-lived musical telling the story of dashing hero Galavant and (originally) his quest to save his true love. It goes on amazingly from there. It's funny, insightful, and the songs are super catchy. And right now it's all on Netflix and relatively short!

I adore Galavant and everything about it. I would be happy with anything in this fandom, shippy or gen.

Hot Fuzz (2007):

My old favorite and reliable film. <3 I'm a sucker for Danny & Nick shippy stuff. Gen is also cool.

I wrote a double drabble inspired by this delightful person's amazingly cool Ribbon Code that took me back into the melancholy that apparently I'm destined to write for these two.

Forgotten Things

Tucked under the billowing sleeve around his right wrist, he’s never removed them. Twin ribbons of blue loosely wound with pink, tied so tenderly while drinking wine under a late blooming tree as they talked of life and adventure. “What is this?” Gilmore asked, smiling as Vax’ildan pressed the bottle to his lips.

He offered a coy drunken smile before answering; “A message.” His face hardened slightly and he added; “A warning to any who might bring harm.”

“What does it mean?” Gilmore asked again.

Vax’ildan’s fingers reached out, caressing his wrist before tracing over the dark blue first; “You’re a trusted ally, someone I depend on.” His eyes lowered, following the track of his fingertip as it shifted to the soft pink intertwined with blue; “And a rogue’s beloved.”

The edges have frayed with the occasional worry of Gilmore’s hands over it, every time he thinks of what he’s lost, or nearly lost. Every time he thinks of dragons. A stain spreads near the knot, his own blood tinging it old crimson. He wonders idly, if Vax remembers that day in Emon as fondly as he does or if in the wake of the dragons it’s another forgotten thing.

This has been a rough year for me and I know I've more or less dropped off the face of fandom for a variety of reasons. I need some fictional healing that YT has always given me. <3

Likes: Fluff, smut, cuddling, bromance into romance, rainy days, big guns, explosions, BAMFs that secretly cuddle, OTPs, OT3s, women that kick large portions of ass, kink (bdsm, fandom, rough sex, topping from the bottom and bottoming from the top), strange situations and unexpected circumstances, found family, odd couples, characters over 40, "the softer side"

Dislikes: AUs (Canon divergence is fine and frequently necessary, but totally different universes are not my thing... except maybe Post-Apocalypse), Crossovers (Unless it's a shared universe in different mediums such as The Walking Dead Comics/Game), character bashing (doesn't everyone hate that?), poor characterization (I'd rather you wrote characters or ships I didn't request than go ooc with characters you aren't comfy with), hard kink, original characters

Okay, now the specifics. I don't tend to like outright prompts as I feel it goes against the "optional parts are optional" and no matter what ships I dig Gen is ALWAYS an option! Don't feel like you have to go shipping just because I do.

The A-Team:
Bless, bless the soul who nominated this! This nearly bizarrely awesome movie has a solid place in my heart. Feel free to get as ridiculous with this as you like - a "modern" version of one of the show's episodes would possibly kill me in a good way. I ship Face/Murdock like a burning but am not opposed to any pairing or grouping of the boys. My NoTP is Face/Sosa BUT I have no problems with something from their past. Guns. Explosions. A side of making out and Murdock being Murdock would be love.

Big Eden:
It just wouldn't be Yuletide for me without another beautiful entry in this small fandom, and I would be honored to receive it. I love everything about this movie, but particularly the way Henry and Pike are so loved and protected by the town. This is one where I crave the softness, simplicity, and soul. Smut would be delicious but I doubt kink would work. I'd be just as happy to peek through the curtain while Pike makes dinner and Henry washes his paint-stained mugs.

Burn Notice:
I had no idea they still qualified but I'm so glad they did! This is a fun fandom to play in and I love it all. Gimme your casefic, your family drama, your kink (and if you can fit it all in a guns and explosions filled fic I'll flip!) and anything else that floats your boat. In The Flesh:
My requisite "new to me" fandom. I watched both series recently and just can't get it out of my mind. Shipping leans toward Ren/Simon but I'm really open to anything and would love a character piece for any of the characters.

The Walking Dead (Video Game):
It was so SO hard to pick between the comics and the game as I love both so much. This is the only fandom where I'd be totally cool with a crossover (as long as it sticks to timeline). Also including the 400 Days characters is awesome (Big fan and shipper of Wyatt and Eddie) and something with Christa and Omid and Clem between season 1 and 2 would make me cry the biggest buckets of fangirl tears (which is a gold star in TWD fandom imo). More of Walter and Matthew would have a similarly excellent effect. Prefer not to focus on the Season 2 group (or Kenny) but if you can make it not feel the same as every other season 2 fic I'm up for it. Just. Yeah. Walkers. Damn.

Notes: Written for Small Fandom Fest 13, my first time playing with the fandom. Much of the information was drawn from supplemental websites, interviews with the director, etc. Much of it is also extrapolation from other sci-fi works with similar creatures and a little bit of my own wandering. My take on Poleepkwa life may not be yours. Also, this does contain non-human romance for the squeamish that are not familiar with the fandom, but is not sexually graphic. This got a whole lot longer than I thought it would, and I’ll probably be writing more in this universe soon.
