Tiny Rocket is a cozy space exploration game where you gain xp by speeding around space, discovering the strange places and objects of the galaxy.

This game was made in 7 days for Brackeys Game Jam 2026.1 in collaboration with my awesome students, who modelled some of the strange places you visit. Thanks to Aaron, Elin, Klara, Zirong, Severin, Lucas, Morgan and Cecilie!

Known bugs 🐛

  • Audio issues in mobile Google Chrome! (turn down sfx in pause menu)
  • No mouse-tracking outside game window in Google Chrome (desktop). Go fullscreen to fix.
  • Strange places sometimes spawn with the wrong orientation
    • This happens more often when going down-left, so try to avoid that direction ;)
  • Objects sometimes spawn too close to rocket if played in fullscreen (desktop)

  • Pixel planets can spawn on top of eachother

  • If volume is changed while secret soundtrack is playing, default track starts too.

Future updates

  • More strange places!
  • Levelling progression tweaking
  • Better object and place spawning
  • Controller support 🎮

Congratulations, you read to the bottom of the description!
Here are some cheat codes as a reward:

  • 🇴 to spawn object
  • 🇵 to spawn place
  • 🇨 to spawn celestial body
  • 🇮 to activate insane mode
  • 🇷 to respawn

This game is fantastic and I know the guy who made it. I think it's amazing that he's matched the theme so well to the game considering it's in a game jam and he's made planets with students. The game is a wild  and fun experience.

super fun game, a tad repetitive but still a fun concept, only thing was the sound of the rocket kind of sounded like a lawnmower and a motorcycle had a child and it was on its last legs. other than that tiny this it was great, good job
