CITY MAP : SOUTH

→ SOUTHERN SECTION OF THE CITY MAP

Just because a building or place isn't labeled on the map, doesn't mean that it does not exist. People live all over the place and what are considered important points in the city to know are listed here, along with a basic guide to who lives in what quarter of the city. This will be updated as needed.

If you would like a location listed, please leave a comment at the main map post.

Current Project Of: Killua Zoldyck, Urahara Kisuke

Kurotsuchi's Lab
Current Resident(s): Kurotsuchi Mayuri
Description and Additional Notes: Mayuri's house and lab is located near the edge of the city, close to the Wastelands and safely removed from the general population of Adstringendum. Solve et Coagula (formerly Rosalie's Clinic)
Current Resident(s): Alphonse Elric, Edward Elric, Negi Springfield, Rachel Berry, Blaine Anderson, Haruna Saotome, Luke fon Fabre
Description and Additional Notes: The building is a big 'U'-shape, with the inside of the 'U' a former lot that is in the process of being converted into a grassy patch/garden for cow residence and probable veggie growth. Formerly run by Rosalie Lillian Hale (gone), now taken over by the Elrics. Ed's been building a sand filter nearby as a water filtration system.

Animals include: Den the dog, Taro the dog, Evita the dog, Kitty the Cat, Marge the cow, a dragonhawk, some chickens

Treepods
Description and Additional Notes: Appearing on the second Christmas "celebrated" in Adstringendum, and as a result of a mis-compression, these treepod houses hang from trees and sleep three comfortably, or four who are very friendly.
1. Hiei's hideaway
2. Unoccupied
3. Romulus "Rome" Hart
4. Abarai Renji
5. Unoccupied
Varia Mansion
Current Resident(s): Fran, Mukuro Rokudo, Belphegor, Xanxus

It has many bedrooms (at least seven), as many bathrooms, a dining room and a few living rooms. Currently, there are only five bedrooms that are in livable condition and one working bathroom, of which the water pipes to the lake are held up by illusions. If all the illusionists in the house leave, there will be no more running water. Some food and weapon supplies are stored on the residence.
Businesses :: SOUTHEAST QUARTER
Greenhouse
Owner(s): Severus Snape
Current Employee(s): None
Current Resident(s): None
Description and Additional Notes: The greenhouse and its plants (of the food producing variety) has been taken over by Snape now that the ponies are gone. Soon, he will be growing various herbs and other such ingredients that he needs for his own uses in there as well. The small wooden house nearby has been cleaned up a bit and is now used as something between a place to store things and a personal retreat. Wards and the like are, of course, in place already.
Places of Interest :: SOUTHEAST QUARTER
Fallingwater
Current Resident(s): Jack Harkness, Toshiko Sato, Ianto Jones
Description and Additional Notes: Appearing on the second Christmas "celebrated" in Adstringendum, and as a result of a mis-compression, this famous Frank Llyod Wright house comes complete with its waterfall. Welcome to Torchwood: Adstring! Or Adstring's equivalent of Bannerman Road, as Sarah Jane prefers.
House on the Rock
Current Resident(s): Hiten
Description and Additional Notes: Appearing on the second Christmas "celebrated" in Adstringendum, and as a result of a mis-compression, is the House on the Rock. The House itself (architecture aside) is rather bare at the moment, but be careful... The house might have some trapdoors and hidden panels worked into it by its last occupant, the Phantom of the Opera. And with Hiten living there now there might be a lot of thunder as well.
Minbari Skyscraper
Current Resident(s): Kamui
Description and Additional Notes: Appearing on the second Christmas "celebrated" in Adstringendum, and as a result of a mis-compression, the crystalline Minbari Skyscraper temple is only accessible on the first twelve floors; higher access is blocked by an unseen force.
Saimyosho Hive
Description and Additional Notes: A caved-in section of a former subway transit station. Completely underground, the subway station has been converted into a hive for Naraku's Saimyosho. Past the stairway, the walls and floors are lined with combs, egg sacs, insect feces, and chitinous skeletons of where saimyosho had shed their skin. The smell would be incredibly foul, and the earsplitting noise of constant buzzing would likely cause severe pain. With all of the filth, and without any light, it would be a tight fit to squeeze into the tunnels, with almost no room to move, deterring anyone from trying to enter. Likewise, it is full of Saimyosho at any given moment, who are extremely territorial.

At the far end of the caved in tunnel is a Saimyosho Queen; a bloated insect at least three times the size of a normal Saimyosho, whose body is too fat to fly. Created by discarded demonic bodyparts, Naraku created the Saimyosho Queen to create a more efficient way to create his insect minions in a world where they are not native. She produces about one hundred new eggs every day, and the average egg takes one week to hatch. Likewise, it takes a month for a Saimyosho larvae to mature into its wasp-like form.
The Lake
Description and Additional Notes: A large freshwater lake with varied aquatic and plant life, and some trees and other greenery around it. A fairly peaceful place, though some creatures do wander in from the wastelands to get a drink of water, so one must be cautious.

The Adstringendum "Mascot," aka Squid-tan, resides here. The creature is often hostile, but cannot be killed.

Warehouse
Description and Additional Notes: The warehouse is large and houses most of the salvaged or raw materials a previous Itachi (and others) brought back from the wastes. The inventory of items was kept up to date until mid-June 2009, and the assortment of supplies there ranges from the most mundane to the most bizarre.

The apartment consists of two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and sitting/living area. Running water (sometimes still faulty) for the kitchen and bathroom is supplied from the lake through the use of magic. The apartment above has also undergone some minimal reconstruction, mainly only warding to keep out unwanted occupants. The location of the entire residence and lawn in front is now officially Secret Kept, with Snape being the Secret Keeper.

Animals include: Erebus the warp stalker

The Cabal Shelter
Current Resident(s): Arthur Pendragon
Description and Additional Notes: Another one of the apartments that's been made livable and remodeled by connecting two apartments that were above and below each other. It consists of six bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a sitting/living area. Running water (still faulty at times) for the kitchen and bathrooms is supplied from the lake through the use of Snape's magic. The basement of a nearby apartment that had been remodeled into a lab for Johannes now belongs to Snape again after Yuca and Mayuri finished raiding it for equipment and the like.
The Hide-a-Way
Current Resident(s): Asato Tsuzuki
Description and Additional Notes: A rustic 4-bedroom log cabin on the north end of the lake, complete with a couple fireplaces, a kitchen with a wood-stove and a well out back. Come spring there will be a modest garden in the back that will be home to flowers- and later, closer to summer, what vegetables can be found in Adstring.
Townhouse
Current Resident(s): Armand
Description and Additional Notes: A small one story, three bedroom, and one bathroom dilapidated house with an enclosed overgrown garden near the Public Library. Though it hasn't been renovated and lacks all of the modern conveniences, the windows have been securely boarded up.

Public Library
Owner(s): Alexia Tarabotti
Current Employee(s): None
Description and Additional Notes: Formerly Ichigo's library before it was taken over and built upon by Lelouch some time after Ichigo left, the library has been through some rough times, whether it be in the form of fires, a fight or two, some blood and some water. Fortunately, many of the resident book lovers have the ability to fix the battered building, allowing it to remain standing despite the odds. Of course, a good majority of the books have either been destroyed or "borrowed", but the ones that are still there are being taken care of by Alexia Tarabotti. The lady keeps a small but tidy apartment on the premises.
Places of Interest :: SOUTHWEST QUARTER

Description and Additional Notes: Appearing on the second Christmas "celebrated" in Adstringendum, and as a result of a mis-compression, a portion of the Chateau offers an exclusive view of the Squid's playground (and sometimes peeks at the Squid himself). At least one of the rooms has been completely destroyed by Lucifer after Rhode disappeared. Jinx is slowly painting and redecorating the interior with a Gothic motif.
Faize's Generator
Current Project Of: Urahara Kisuke, Sokka
