Join our team as full-stack developer helping us build AdSpawn - a platform empowering game studios to deliver creative ads. The position requires working across the stack, solving interesting problems, getting your hands dirty with the code, brainstorming architecture, but most importantly - having fun in the process together. We don't want to work a 9-5 chore where you're only ticking off Jira tickets and review PRs every day, and we don't consider amount of code people write as some kind of obscure metric of whether they're productive (looking at this weirdo). We are happy to have funded our own company where can finally do stuff our way - we're here to enjoy the ride and have colleagues who it's a joy to work with.

Your :props

This is a role for a seasoned dev with solid programming fundamentals, an understanding of algorithmic complexity and performance tradeoffs and has been in the trade long enough to be able to transform business logic into maintainable code - in fact, we'd love to discuss features and delve into what makes sense for the product together. We hate the "ai replaces juniors" sentiment and will love to hire and train some in the future, but since this is a role for one of the more "close to the core" team member positions we'd like to build a strong talent base first.

Besides classic day-to-day fullstack business there will be times you'll need (and be encouraged!) to venture outside the usual playbook - picking up a tool new to everybody on the team, hacking together a proof of concept with something you've not touched before, or finding a beautifully strange solution to a problem that works and doesn't fit into any stack. We're not saying this happens every Tuesday, but when those moments come up, we challenge and figure them out instead of shrugging it off with "this is not my stack" energy. If that sounds like you, we'll definitely get along.

The stack

You will be working with PHP/Laravel on the backend and Vue on the frontend, building across the full stack - backend services, reactive frontends, and our AI workflow integrations.

Haven't used our specific stack in the past? We're happy to collaborate with people who have experience with MVC frameworks and modern JS in general. Strong core dev skills, willingness to learn, and mutual chemistry fit matter to us more than ticking every box.

We find it kind of silly to list things like "working with sql databases", "using git", or "good communication skills" so instead of wasting kilobytes and your time, here's this picture instead.

We're a recently funded and steady growing startup, working with both local and international clients - including small and big players from the gaming industry. We're scaling our team and product, and this is a great time to join (at least we think so).

Our team is a crew of of gamers and friends, who love great ideas, dad jokes, sauna, and good beer - in no particular order. If you're not a gamer that's fine, but we're pretty sure you will get into it once working with us. Except for sauna, that's probably a love or hate relationship.

You can also look forward to company events like nature getaways, trips to conferences like Gamescom, mid-day AFK fun - going climbing or whatever someone's heart desires to blow off some steam, or non-afk stuff like an Unreal Tournament match.
