Although Adobe advertises the system requirements for AIR 31.0.0.96 as "Mac OS X v10.10 or later," the installer allows installation on a system running OS X 10.7.5.

The version downloaded from this website never goes beyond "installing" Downloaded it twice and tried 2 different Macs.
Success with a download from Adobe directly.

v19.0.0.190 patches 23 (twenty-three) security holes, all due to its incorporation of Adobe Flash. The fact that Adobe pushed this update outside of their usual 'Second-Tuesday-of-the-Month' schedule indicates that there is imminent exploitation of these security holes. Therefore:
UPDATE IMMEDIATELY! - - Or simply dump both AIR and Flash.
