I'm a computer person living in Fukuoka, Japan. In 2025 I quit my job with no concrete plans for the second time in my career (the first time was when I moved to Japan). I am trying to re-focus my time in a way I enjoy that is both more impactful, and that contributes to society in a positive way.

I got a message in response to my Artisanal vs. Industrial Coding post, that pointed out the analogy to artisans doesn't really work for software.
