Little Information

Thanks to places like Friendsblab this journal is friends only. I cross-post content to LJ/IJ/DW. If you see my entries anywhere else, I DID NOT give permission for it to be posted.

I'm 50 years old (which makes me enough over the age of 18 for two people) and live in the United States. I live a (mostly) stress free life with my husband, 26 year old daughter and six (yes, you read that correctly) cats. I have licenses in both social work and counseling and have worked primarily in child protective services in the area of foster care and adoption. I'm now retired and spend most of my day cheerfully reading slash fiction. I'm one of the maintainers on snape_potter and the sadly under-utilized accio_spoilers. I also am the mod for the annual Snarry-a-Thon and Snarry Swap fests as well as Back to Hogwarts, 10 Years of Snarry, The Fix It Fest, and every fest held at snape_potter. Also the maintainer and one of the editors of the sshp_prophet and a mod and reccer for the snarry_reader. In case it wasn't obvious, I am pretty much all Snarry, all the time. ;D

I've been a fan of slash since I was 18 and have gone through numerous fandoms since then. I'm currently playing in the Harry Potter sandbox with Snape/Harry as my OTP, but I have been known to read just about anything slash. Most notably--Grimm, The Hunger Games, Merlin, Supernatural, Sherlock Holmes, Hawaii 5-0, Lord of the Rings, Starsky & Hutch, The Sentinel, Brokeback Mountain, Hogan's Heroes, Batman, and my first love, Star Trek: TOS (and now the Reboot, too).

I neither write anything longer than ficlets or draw anything more difficult than cartoons. And the majority of fannish content (yep, that primarily means art) is NO LONGER public on LJ. But it *is* public at IJ and DW. I am accioslash there as well and you can find my art under the cleverly named "my_art" tag. I DO NOT AGREE that content posted to Facebook by anyone other than myself (and I don't have a Facebook account) belongs to Facebook. But since that is in their TOS, I have made all older fannish content on LJ friends-only. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I cross-post all content here to my journals at IJ and most to DW, so feel free to filter me if you have me friended at more than one journal.

In regard to friending, I love new friends and everyone over the age of 18 is welcome here. If you would like me to friend you back just let me know, though I don't typically friend blank journals. I enjoy reading all types of journals whether you primarily post fics, art, memes, or snippets of your RL. I read every journal on my f-list and I often have to restrain myself from commenting on every post. My own journal tends to be primarily Harry Potter fandom related with a small bit of personal information or other fandom obsession tossed in. As my name implies, I am a slash fan. I make no secret of this to anyone and although the majority of the content of this journal is appropriate for anyone, many of the links are not. Adult content is implied by the pairings and by clicking on those links you are stating you are of legal age to view that material. Please police yourself.
