Programs to support the next generation of scientists

All programs
An opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a research residency at the AC’s homebase, the University of Toronto.
This program provides funding for undergraduates who self-identify as members of equity-deserving groups to gain experiential training in topics related to accelerated materials and molecules discovery. Over this 12-week fellowship, students will undertake a project performing state-of-the-art research with an AC self-driving lab.
These grants aim to support faculty members and trainees at the University of Toronto to launch projects, programming, or events that address EDI barriers in STEM.
The AC’s caregiving grants will provide research funding support to Associate and Assistant Professors members with caregiving responsibilities. These resources aim to mitigate the impact of caregiving duties by maintaining research group productivity during caregiving leave.
