finished pale fire yesterday. i had completely forgotten just how funny nabakov can be; i couldn't stop chuckling after every page. it won't trump lolita for me, no way, but i thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

and last night on a whim i started another emily prager story without realizing how it'd make my eyes pop with the sassy glibness of its diction. about the LPARD. ladies, i confess, i enjoyed the hell out of reading that too. (shrug)
