friends in pain.

saw a sloe eyed rabbit near a bush by the cathedral steps today in the rain on the way home from school--at first with my peripheral vision i thought it was a gigantic squirrel. it was so beautiful. that porcupiney ethereal fur, like a squirrel's tail...is there or is it vapor? etc.

then i caught the bus right away because the driver saw me racing towards her and was kind to me. i said "thank you" and she said "you're welcome" both when i got on (breathlessly) and off.
