absolution melting.

Listens: food!

my mom brought some of the indian dish she made at home to pittsburgh. it involved steeping the spices in a tea infuser and then using the resulting liquid to cook the rice and meat. she even brought a little glass jar with the refreshing, creamy sauce used to top the meat. and. oh my. the rice is to die for and the meat melts off the bone. (sorry any of you vegetarians.)

today's spent doing laundry at a lazy rate as no one seems queued up to use the facilities (the whole building feels sleepy to me), studying korean, looking up recipes for the ddok i finally managed to find (!!!!), planning what justin and i might want to cook while he's here, and reading marat/sade and texts on marriage and rape laws for class.

life is pretty great right now.
