and that letter? a large chunk was devoted to chewing anselm hollo out, after i'd spent time with numerous books of his...granted, there were the usual disclaimers wrapped as strands around it. but the center of it was just a hard, edgy stone of anger. that has been cultivated and perennial, that i've been struggling to be lucid about. ...anyway, then i discover late today one good book, one solid book from him. published fairly recently in albuquerque nm, called rue wilson monday. the footnote format almost put me over the edge and seemed to just affirm (mostly) the heart of what i was bitching about, but the book as a whole proves worthy in the end (oh, there is no end, silly you). ah.
