so i realized last night that along with standpoint theory/feminist epistemology, i'd do well to incorporate transcultural theory when discussing the adoptee as an imagined/imaginative Other. but if i do that this will be a 25 page term paper instead of a 10 page mini one. hrmm.

i supoose this is not entirely a bad turn of events. but hmmm. now it's going to be one of those projects, you know, where i want to do so much more than the term requirements allow/care for, and it's just in danger of becoming a skin of a thought or a ghost. i should record some notes though. this was an assignment that in particular i found a bunch of tangentially related (at least on the surface only tangential, that is) information/considerations for, and don't have the need/resources to include right now.
