lately the newer brand of misogyny and resentment has cropped up in various places i reside on campus and with friends and in scattered discussion--this anger, the backlash against feminism. there have been numerous "pop-lite" articles on this subject, i realize, but it's a problem i want to understand better--men (and women, too) who resent feminism because they view it as "needless threatening" or an attack on who they are. and the whole "i'm goddamn sick of being told i have to be a 'sensitive man' by contemporary culture and the surge of anti-testosterone sentiment, this climate." i don't know what to say. i want to understand better. that's all i have for now.
