I don't know what to be more embarrassed about, the fact I was watching Intervention (again) or that I perked up and got so excited when the first shot was the outside of the Carnegie Library, and then all over Pittsburgh. There's also the fact I sniffed out the TWOP forums about the episode afterward and was all "a ha!" because so many other homesick-for-Pittsburgh folks said the exact same thing. And then I felt even MORE validated because race came up, how many pockets of Pittsburgh are hella racist. I thought I was imagining it at the time, then I moved to Memphis and was surprised because Memphis feels way less so, at least in the city proper. Or at least a different sort of prejudice. Hard to explain...
