patio evening with the best white wines i've had since my first tastes of french colombard and falanghina almost 10 years ago. wild mushroom ravioli, fried green tomato ladder with shrimp, duck confit slider, and coconut shrimp with volcanic mango dipping sauce (i love that my husband's tastes align enough with mine that we can just really share everything, broadening both our horizons woot). oh, and key lime pie that tastes more like lime custard than anything else. we saw a mop dog and a stray gato-lookin' cat with dirty white boots. and our server was so nice and more notably, enthusiastic about the food. i love when that happens, like at thyme. lovely. we'll prob. be going back, if we can ever finish wading through all the must-go-to new spots (paletas!! dim sum!! tacos borolas!! elegant farmer! aiee...).
