My second or third grade teacher taught this one to us, so I have known it pretty much my whole life. I think it was Miss Gabriel, because she also taught us As I Was Going to Sr Ives, the Erie Canal song and a few others I am having a hard time bringing to mind. I like the simplicity of it and the voice of the artist, who is named in the comments.
@edgarblythe,
Great one by Joan, edgar.
Photo's that tell stories, but first, the Bengal tiger.

It's beautiful in the photos. Likely a nice place to visit, when the weather is being docile.
We learned this song in second grade and it's about all I remember on the subject of Physics
@panzade,
What does the sun have to do with psychics?
@edgarblythe,
It's really about dyslexia
This song was first recorded by Lefty Frizzell.
@Ragman,
Oh yeh. Ramblin Jack nailed it.
I was thinking of T.E. Lawrence today.
I noticed that Peter O Toole was retiring.
Movies that tell history.

I paid good money to go see Lawrence of Arabia. But I fell asleep just as the movie got underway and did not stir until it ended. I have no idea to this day if I would have enjoyed it. I do know I bought Seven Pillars of Wisdom and found it too densely written to be read by the human brain.
This song tells a really sweet story - I didn't really get it until the second listening.
