To tell someone to do an action faster using a short imperative sentence, we use “faster” Swim faster!, Run faster!, Walk faster!.

So, to tell someone to slow down, we often use the general command “Slow down!” for all situations.

But if I want to be more specific about the action, can I use “slow / slowly / slower”? Does it sound natural?
- Hey Tom! Swim slow / slowly / slower!
- Hey Tom! Run slow / slowly / slower!
- Hey Tom! Walk slow / slowly / slower!

@kimconu,
"Swim slower!" or "Swim more slowly!" would both be correct.
