What's the deal with pharmaceutical ads...

I think they are hoping people will demand it because of all the wonderful potential side effects.

I guess it's a loophole. Since they don't tell about what it does, they don't have to mention anything about the side effects.

Like I said, all the ad copy consists is basically the brand name.

Not sure your point. The couple of examples (name brands withheld to not give them SEO power) don't list the side effects or direct the viewer to a location (magazine ad or website) where you could read more about the side effects.

As an aside, I did make a side effects include word game.

Perhaps its because they made such a huge profit during the Corona pandemic, if they don't make the same profit this year it will be considered a loss.

Please don't make me dig those up. They also include ways to pay to discount the cost of these pharmaceuticals, too.
