And now a recitation -
I met a clown who wasn't there
And so I really did not care
At me then he done did glare
Which was much more than I could bear
so I shoved him down some stairs
which caused him loudly then to swear.
I hoped his outfit would not tear,
Or make him look like a squashed pear.
He landed on a dappled mare
That odd clown who wasn't there
and now he's gone, I know not where
I remember it well. The reason I was afraid of clowns is because of their perpetual smile. The only people who wore smiles like that were either insane, intoxicated, or both.
I grew up loving clowns and have always resented their vilification.

Because clowns are still the evilest monsters in the universe and deserve all of the vilification provided.

@tsarstepan,
I don't know but some of them will scare the socks off you. You really need the trump fans and see what they think of clowns!! My guess is that they are nutty over them, very exciting for the X- crowd.
@izzythepush,
Blackadder was my fav for a long while. It still makes me laugh.
