Put 1 parrot and a rock in pot and cover with water.
Boil until the rock is soft.

We spent a few days up on the Northern Coast of France a year or so back, in a little seaside place called Wimereux.
Down by one of the seafront hotels there were a pair of Macaws in a large aviary, which squawked and talked with any passer by who stopped to listen.
They spoke in French (obviously, I suppose), and we spent several pleasant moments listening to them yabbering on, whilst not really understanding too much.
On the final day, my brother and French sister in law arrived to join us on the next leg of our journey, and I introduced them to these charming macaws as we strolled down the prom.
After a minute or two of chat with them, I was informed by the French speakers that they were basically just stringing a lot of very bad swear words together which all boiled down to the fact that they would very much like it if all the tourists f**ked off home at our earliest convenience.

Oh my, I can just picture the tourists smiling at the beautiful birds while they insult them with profanity. It's charmingly perverse but somehow it still makes me smile.
Well this afternoon he’s finally over the whole Tortoise nightmare and he’s back to being his sweet self. He's watching some TV.

It's the unfamiliarity. To that bird, it looks like an alien, perhaps. Plus..you can't tell what's on a tortoise's mind; whereas, with a dog, you can.

Sounds right to me. You know those dogs are afraid of him and stay clear of that bird. And when he was screaming yesterday morning those dogs took off running to their beds!

He's very gentle, he if wanted to he could snap a finger off!
