@Brandon9000,
Jesus wept, marriage is marriage, DOMA was thrown out precisely because it attempted to narrowly define marriage in contravention of the rights of those who don't define marriage that narrowly. What part of . . .
No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States
. . . did you fail to understand? I guess you'd be OK with marriage defined as a legal union of a man and a woman, if they are the same "race," huh?
This is section three of the Defense of Marriage Act:
n determining the meaning of any Act of Congress, or of any ruling, regulation, or interpretation of the various administrative bureaus and agencies of the United States, the word 'marriage' means only a legal union between one man and one woman as husband and wife, and the word 'spouse' refers only to a person of the opposite sex who is a husband or a wife.
It failed to pass constitutional muster. The Supremes, one of the most conservative courts which has ever sat, In a 5–4 decision on June 26, 2013, ruled Section 3 of DOMA to be unconstitutional, declaring it "a deprivation of the liberty of the person protected by the Fifth Amendment."
So, a body of people far more adroit and well educated in the law, and no less conservative than you are, don't agree with you. I have not doubt that you will be unmoved, and will peddle your sorry BS again in the future.
Do the job or quit. Praying time fine. Gotta have special gear maybe. Cant do the job.....hell no, you gotta go.

@wandeljw,
One wonder how people would had feel if a clerk who religion ban divorce would had refused to issue one of the three marriage licenses that Kim Davis took out after her first marriage.
