I haven't knowingly heard any of Beyonce's music before. I noticed today some people getting their tightie whities in a knot over this song by her. My opinion has always been that crossovers happen and it's generally a good thing. It broadens the scope of our listening habits. In this instance I don't like her version but fully support her right to perform any song she chooses to sing.
