Vanilla cake with butter cream frosting.
@edgarblythe,
You probably can ed, just give it time...
@edgarblythe,
because.....you.....can't!
@Ceili,
Yeah too much cake will do it!
@Ceili,
There are worse things to die of.
I'll take a particular zuccotto, one with photo and recipe torn from Food & Wine in 1990. Too bad, not online.
It wasn't hard to make, as in even I could do it and I'm no dessert adept. If you happen to have saved F & W from 1990, it's there as Florentine Chocolate-hazelnut Dome.
If you fail as I did to find a link (I suppose I should scan my tear out pages), you will turn to crumbs and the ants will approach
@chai2,
Black Forest cake and I want the entire cake. Better yet, let me have 3 of them so I can be sure the quality is the same across the board.
@FOUND SOUL,
I fell madly in love with the Black Forest cake the first time I had it. It almost made me forget the pistachio ice cream (or as I called it back then, Statue of Liberty ice cream because it was green).
Now there's an idea! Black Forest cake with some ice cream on the side.
@Sturgis,
I swear you are ALWAYS hungry
Black Forest Cake is gooood..... Glad I provided an idea to top it off, must find Death by Chocolate and post the picture, you may change your mind
