A variation of the Segway but with a seat.

Looks as if it handles like a two-wheeled unicycle.
Not sure I'd feel as safely in control on it as I would on a Segway with handlebars to hang onto.
Hmmmm....
I have some doubts on safety of Segways. After all, the founder of Segways died in a Segway accident while I was in the UK last year

Unlike the unicycle the feet can touch the ground so the risk of falling is less.

The Segway is not safe in passive or inactive mode. If you saw pictures of GWB falling off a Segway shows it needs a bit if coordination and a sober mind. Maybe GWB was drinking when he tried it. The Brazilian model is safer as the feet can be reached out to the ground.
