In sorrow

I've just spoken with our dear Miss Letty (thank you, dys, for sharing her number).

It's always hard to lose a loved one. It's doubly hard to lose one's child. With sad heart we hear today that Miss Letty's son passed away last evening after a long illness. Letty and a young friend from Orlando will be traveling later today to be with Letty's daughter and attend services. Thank you, young friend, for attending to our radio anchor during this most difficult time.
