KIPP
KIPP
KIPP is a unique puzzle-platformer that puts a twist on the genre—literally. The game's title comes from the German word kippen, meaning "to tilt" or "to topple," which is the core mechanic of the experience.
Gameplay:
In KIPP, you navigate through 2D platforming levels with a special ability: you can rotate the entire world by 90 degrees.
- Rotate the World: Shift gravity and perspective to solve environmental puzzles.
- Platforming Action: Classic jumping and movement mechanics.
- Coin Collection: Gather coins to unlock your path forward.
Controls:
- A / D: Move Left / Right
- Space: Jump
- Right Mouse Button (Hold): Enter Turn Mode (Freezes time)
- Q (while holding RMB): Rotate Level Left
- E (while holding RMB): Rotate Level Right
Development Status:
Please Note: This is a very small demo and represents the game in its early development stages.
The current build showcases the core rotation mechanic and introductory levels. I am actively working on expanding the game in the future with:
- More intricate levels and puzzles.
- New mechanics and environmental hazards.
- Greater challenges as you progress.
Feedback & Community:
As KIPP is in active development, feedback, suggestions and comments are more than welcome!

I love the concept! The level design is great, and the visual style looks nice. I'm curious what an expanded version of the this demo would look like.
Hey Gorge Express,
Thank you for your comment! I’m glad that you enjoyed this small demo!
Loved it. Didn't take over 10 minutes to beat and had a simple yet fun ability.
I'd only add a soundtrack if I had to change anything. The BWEEP BWEEP every time I used the ability got old fast.
Hey Pulchrus,
thank you for trying out this small version of my game! I’m glad you loved it!
As for the game: I’m currently developing further by adding more levels and more quality of life features to release a better version of the game. I’ve taken your points of adding soundtrack and adjusting the turning sound into consideration.
It would mean a lot if you’d stick around for a little longer until I have a new version ready for the game!
