About the author

What began as a hobby for Scott Andrews developed into a lifelong obsession that has taken him on numerous forays to the United Kingdom, The Republic of Ireland and other parts of Europe in search of material for his adventure novels.
Beginning as a child, Andrews became absorbed in reading comic books and paranormal/science fiction, collecting over 15,000 comic pieces. This led him to creating action and adventure stories with memorable characters, who are brought to vivid life. His research has involved visiting and living close to 1,000 castles, standing stones, and other historical sites to seek artifacts and other historical lore.
“I love inventing gripping characters who, with a little imagination, can be made plausible for the reader,” explains Andrews, a Pennsylvania business executive. “I dig into each character to bring him or her into sharp focus in a whirlwind ride of action, sex, intrigue, or emotion.”
His books contain the right amount of action, adventure, sex, and twist to give readers what they want: exciting, well-integrated, action-packed stories.
"My novels can be compared in subject matter to Michael Crichton’s Timeline, Disney’s
National Treasure Movie franchise, or Clive Cussler’s (Dirk Pitt series) but with the maturity of George Martins, Game of Thrones novels. Like those creator's, I too base my fiction on stories that could be believable, based on historical facts interwoven with imagination. As Crichton makes recreating dinosaur DNA believable in Jurassic Park, I likewise make the return to the fantasy days of King Arthur or entering the Bermuda Triangle realistic and believable. I am not a fantastic wordsmith but an imaginative storyteller in the style of serials like that of Raiders of the Lost Ark. A good yarn. ;-)"
When he isn’t writing in his field of Non-Profit management, Andrews is a speaker at regional and national conferences in his field of Leisure Services. He was also an Ad hoc instructor at the University of Maryland from which he has a master’s degree, as well as a B. A. from the University of Florida.
Other experiences include fashion, sports, and nature photography.
