Department of Agricultural and Applied Statistics
Welcome to the Department of Agricultural and Applied Statistics, a unique department devoted to research and teaching on statistics in the agricultural and social sciences. Statistics has been taught in BAU since 1963. Throughout its history, the department has been very active in the advanced development of agricultural disciplines especially agricultural economics, crop science, veterinary medicine, animal husbandry, agricultural engineering, fisheries, and agricultural education. We have about 15 faculty members, 2 officers, 3 staffs, postgraduate (M.S.) students, and Ph.D. researchers. Our alumni have been working with a reputation in different universities, government and non-government organizations, and agricultural research organizations.
